ALG has completed hundreds of aircraft lease transactions. Often these transactions are routine and relatively simple where an aircraft is procured and delivered to an established carrier.
At other times, a client will have more complex needs. ALG has been a pioneer in creatively structuring transactions to benefit its clients. For example, ALG closed the first major aircraft deal under the Caribbean Basin Initiative by delivering two A300-B4 aircraft for lease to a Caribbean-based passenger carrier. This structure provided substantial financing savings to the carrier.
Recently, ALG structured a purchase of multiple DC10-30 aircraft to include a short-term lease back in order to meet the specific cash flow and operational requirements of the operator. ALG subsequently delivered these aircraft to a major U.S. carrier to meet their long-term expansion needs, as well.
